Made in the USA and ideal for teaching kids the art of embroidery. The kit includes beautiful die-cut designs, simple but attractive for embroidery, floss, needle, easy-to-follow instructions. I added extra thread and some needles when I gave this to my granddaughter as she wanted to learn how to "sew". She is almost 7 years old and this kit gave her the opportunity to easily achieve beautiful results. Dyeing the finished stitch is optional but will add panache to the design. I cut each piece into chunks and used a little zigzag stitch around the edges to keep the fabric from fraying while she was working on it (good idea). I plan to buy more of this set as my granddaughter really wants to "sew more".
