More features than I need.
I got this for my work truck. I only want amber and white, but red and blue were a lot of fun in the fields. The streak is shorter than I expected, but it's more than bright enough to be seen from a distance. White floodlight mode makes hitching up a trailer or reversing on dirt roads much easier. It is also a good flashlight for camping. A good understanding of electrical wiring is required. Use good quality solder and heat shrink tubing and this rod will last a long time. Consider how many features it has and get a junction box that fits your needs. I had to return my junction box for a larger device as it has more features than I could possibly need.
