Review on πŸ›΄ Kids 3-Wheel Scooter for Ages 3-5, LED Light Up Wheels, Adjustable Height, Lean to Steer, Extra Wide Deck, Rear Brake - Ideal for Boys and Girls by David Lambert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

3' tall 3 year old and it's perfect.

I got this for my daughter to ride around on while I'm skating when we head to the parks in town and she loves it. The scooter itself is easy enough to build; takes very little technical expertise. I had it put together in no time and we took it out to ride. She's 3 years old and exactly 3' tall and at near the lowest setting on the handle this is perfect for her. She can hold on securely and kick off without tilting to the side or extending her reach. She weighs just shy of 30# and it holds her super well, but I can't see this actually fitting anyone over 6 maybe? Unless they are small framed for sure. My niece is 11 a little bit above average height and it's awkward for her to try and ride. Not that she hasn't tried a couple times already but it's not the right size for sure. Wheel wise these are good for smooth surfaces with just small bumps/holes and the wheels will glide right over. We use the local skate park so I can ride around along side her and she thinks it's the best thing in the world. So 2-6 (leaning more to starting around 3 depending on size) and this is a perfect little scooter to get them active and that extra feeling of freedom from going fast. Don't forget pads & helmet though. Even at these speeds it's important to keep them safe.

Pros
  • The scooter is very sturdy only thing I didn't like was the handle bars don't move so you can turn
Cons
  • The LED lights may drain the battery quickly and need constant replacement

Our granddaughter likes this scooter a lot. It rolls pretty good and smooth. The flex turning up front is a bit touchy but she is figuring it out. She is still not comfortable lifting her pushing foot onto the deck but that''s fine with us. There is not any safety equipment included so make sure you have at least a helmet for your little one. This was easy to set up and seems well made. My only compliant is that you really need to get it moving pretty fast to get the wheels to light up, She can''t get up enough speed to light them and is frustrated that they won''t light for her.
