These are the only reading glasses I've found that function like the old "half-glasses"; they are small enough that you can set them a bit farther down your nose, to see over them. This means you don't have to constantly be taking them on and off, when shifting between reading and focusing on something else. (Essential for public speaking). The plastic frame isn't that sturdy, however, so I find they only last about 18 months before breaking. Still sufficient for what I need them for.
