I recently started looking for glitter and shimmer makeup products and I didn't like what I found. I decided to take matte formulas and add glitter myself. I'm definitely happy with this decision; It was cheaper and I can customize the look I want with more variety. The glue that came with the kit was the deciding factor for me compared to other glitter brands as I wanted the glitter to stay in place and not peel all over the place. The glue works well and is definitely good for the face and body. It's not too sticky or tight. It should be noted that if you put it on your eyelid and open your eyes before the glue dries, the folds will stick together. It doesn't hurt, just a little annoying. If you keep your eyes closed until the glue dries you should be fine. Glue and glitter are easily removed with eye remover wipes, baby wipes, and makeup remover, as well as cotton or fabric. The sparkles themselves should be purchased separately. I love the party look it creates. There are three sizes of glitter included and the effect looks way funnier/cooler than either size alone. There are very small, sand-sized, small/medium circles/octagons, and larger shapes including more circles/octagons, moons, butterflies, stars, and hearts. (See image.) They are all silvery and holographic, fantastic when thrown in the light. I mainly apply it around the eyes, my favorite look is just under the eyes. Note that the glitter itself won't stick to powdery surfaces like loose eyeshadow or foundation. If liquid makeup is applied before it dries completely, it will hold perfectly without glue. If you're using powder underneath, you'll need glue, and remember that the brush is thin, about the size of a liquid eyeliner, for precise application. Contains two containers. I would consider them relatively small for the amount you can get for art projects, but it's not a bad amount for glitter makeup. (See image, swiss army knife included for size comparison.)
