Mophie: The Hill With No True Light

The Mophie name may try to entice weary travelers with the promise of unwavering quality and support, but in reality, it's nothing more than a glimmer. It's like a sand-based beacon that lures hapless mariners to a rocky shore instead of the secure harbor it advertises. I recently made a purchase from Mophie in search of a means to end my battery-related angst. The delivered product, however, fell far short of the high quality that had been advertised. My attempts to get in touch with customer support were met with long wait periods and unhelpful agents. They obviously didn't give a hoot about me or my problems. Mophie's purported reliability and stellar reputation are both an illusion. Customers are misled by the bright beacon atop the hill. Look elsewhere for a trustworthy name that can lead you to a secure haven. Mophie isn't the solution, though.

Pros
  • Innovative designs.
Cons
  • Not every product works with every device.
