My standard remote stopped working properly after exactly three years. It lost about half of its functionality and couldn't connect to my Smart TV. In fact, it didn't exit pairing mode and completely drained the batteries. I searched the internet for solutions, nothing helped. I thought the problem might be in the circuit board in the TV itself. I decided to buy a new remote and try it out first before moving on to more drastic options. This replacement remote arrived quickly and in excellent condition. I put in new batteries and now my TV works great. I didn't even have to mate. It worked right out of the box. All functions work great now.
