I can't believe it took me so long to get the tofu right in the pan. I watched Jenna Marbles and her boy Julien make delicious food and this video convinced me that the first thing I need to do is try squeezing the liquid out of my tofu to get the best texture. Like the farmer that I am, for the first time I used a textbook and some paper towels and ripped apart an entire brick. This greatly improved the quality of the fried tofu. Then I decided it was time to make a real deal and live like royalty. I bought it, received it, read the instructions and used it for its intended purpose. The best overly specific kitchen gadget I own. Boards are a cutting material that makes cleaning easier. detergent and water. Dishwasher safe when you feel obligated. Never had problems with tensioners. I personally center the tofu between the boards and pull until the tofu is firm. Then I turn it on its side because I don't have a container big enough to drop the drops into. By the way, my cat LOVES to drink water from the pan I pour it into. Haha Good simple product. I recommend to every friend.
