The bottom hem keeps moisture in.
We've only been using this in our new bathroom for about 6 weeks and it looks like it's getting moldy on the bottom edge. There is some sort of rope in the hem to weigh down the curtain and the area is turning pink with mildew. *We have a fan in the bathroom that we use* I think the rope keeps the moisture in.
