I've been using one of these for several years with no problems to regulate the output from 120VAC to 12VDC to power indirect RGB lighting around our home, which consists of two remote controlled drivers and light strips. The transformer appears to be outputting pulsing DC power so the lights flickered, but with this device all flickering is gone. Of course, the load is light for our use, so if you expect to use the full 10A power, others have recommended a heatsink and/or fan, but this wasn't necessary for my use.
