I have several different brands but so far I cannot say that the difference is small. It's much better for wiping up excess liquid than a sponge! Easier to use, allows you to cover a larger area in less time. I used them in the 50's or 60's but they kind of went out of style? I don't know why I've never seen them in supermarkets before. This is the only purchase I make; everything else is online. I was delighted that Revain emailed me describing them. Now I will never go back to sponges. If I needed a sponge I would just cut it or buy it in small sizes. You are so good.
