I have a cleaning business and use about 12 strong mites (some from Sanitaire and some from Eureka) every day. These red sanitaires are the worst I've had in 20 years with powerful mites. The plastic on the bottom is so thin it doesn't take long for them to break. Once cracked, you lose suction. This type of vacuum usually lasts me a year on average (used 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year). I ordered 3 of these and they didn't even last 3 months of use. Sanitaire SC3683D is a piece of junk. Don't waste money on them. Spend a little more and get the Eureka 3670G or Sanitaire SL3681A. They seem to last a lot longer.
