It's a great blotter - no pokes or holes as other reviewers unfortunately experienced. It's smooth, even textured, and feels like quality leather. Doesn't slip around the desk when working on top of it. No problems writing on it - my pen didn't poke through the paper. We got the 24x14" size and we probably could've gone a bit bigger, but the size works enough to use a keyboard and mouse on. The logo is debossed on the top left corner. It's not super noticeable and our keyboard covers it anyways. There's no white stitching either - some user photos showed the stitching, but ours is just like the product photos. Shipping was super fast! It came in only 2 days to the California central coast even though it estimated one week.
