High quality product. Ideal for PC vinyl packaging.

I am a PC enthusiast who is a DIY enthusiast. I've been building PCs for family, friends, and myself for many years. I like putting together clean builds with minimal clutter mixed with an attractive yet practical aesthetic. This was the first time I decided to work with vinyl wrap. Most PCs come with extra grommets, cable channels, and mounting locations that allow for better cable management, but leave little for aesthetics. The more holes there are, the lower the cooling pressure because the air escapes from these holes. So I thought vinyl wraps could help with both aesthetics and airflow. What I did here is that I wrapped some areas that have a lot of holes, most notably the back mounting areas of the PC case. To add aesthetics, I even wrapped the cooler heatsink parts, graphics card backplate, and fan backs/logos. I was very satisfied with both the optics and the cooling. The clean look is pleasing to the eye, but most importantly, my CPU temp dropped a few degrees. If I had one downside to the VViViD film, it was that the vinyl itself is very thin when removed from the release paper, but with a little patience and adjustment it wasn't too bad. In fact, it is very easy to peel and re-stick the vinyl without leaving any marks. In my case, I used a heat gun (can be found cheaply here at Revain) along with an old plastic card (an old credit card or membership card). ) to stretch the vinyl and stick it to specific areas on the back of the graphics card. I also used other tools like an Exacto knife, a metal ruler and a Fiskars circle cutter to cut out round shapes for the compartments. However, this is more than what you need. You can cut the vinyl with something as simple as a utility knife or scissors. I am very satisfied with this product. I will be opening a DIY channel for PC on Youtube and plan to use VViViD vinyl for future builds. I hope this helped.
