I really like this plug. I connected it to a Raspberry Pi behind the monitor and drilled a slot in the frame for it. Just drilling a 3/4 inch hole in wood for threading is not long enough. I just couldn't get the lock nut to engage the threads. So a little flush drilling was required. To be honest, I would have preferred a single USB plug that fits both outlets, making it both an extender and a splitter. But luckily the Pi has enough USB ports to do what I need it to do. It doesn't matter much. It will suit you There is also a mount that screws onto a flat surface so you can mount it under a dashboard, table or something else.
