Lightning hangs

Lightning never worked properly. Our solution was to not zip it up so it wouldn't get snagged. After 6 months my husband forgot it and tightened it after taking it with his son. Well after 9 months of trial and error I finally cut the zip open. My son was incredibly patient to wait so long. He was delighted to finally get his stuffed animals, but regrets that his bag of beans is ruined.
