I purchased this item to replace another aftermarket lamp for my Epson 8350 (old lamp lasted about 3,000 hours). The first Araca I bought worked fine for about a day and then started making loud noises. I put the old bulb back in, contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement bulb. I finally found time to use a spare bulb and it worked for about a week with no issues. Colors are very vivid, maybe as good or even better than the standard lamp that came with the projector. I was also very impressed with their customer service. It's nice to have a place behind their products and be ready to replace an item if there is a problem. I know a lot of people have reservations about aftermarket products, but I'm always willing to try them. Especially when after a few months I had to replace my entire Epson project. Sometimes even OEM products have problems.
