I have a 120 lb dog and a Tahoe that have captain seats that I regularly fold and unfold to transport furniture around town. I needed something that would keep the dog behind while driving, but that would be easy to take apart for the rest of the week when I had furniture. As the product was so cheap I had rather low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product when I received it. It's stretchy enough to reach over 2/3 the width of my cargo space, but it still holds its shape so it's still very useful for smaller items. I understand why parents of hyperactive, impatient and/or climbers would not find this product effective. My dog is well-behaved and doesn't make any great effort to get over the obstacle. Use common sense when purchasing for your pet, it's just a stretchy net after all.
