I work for the ISS program and have a collection of flight and other space themed pins that hang on a fabric banner in my booth. (A lot of people here collect lapel pins, some wear them on lanyards, and some then decorate their backpacks.) This rocket is a nice addition to my collection. It has a safety pin closure at the back, although I prefer the pin to have a separate back, although you're less likely to cut yourself with it. It's made of plastic (not metal), which makes it very light. cute and funny! Safe enough for children.
