Great if the bowl isn't too big
This is a very nice little scale. I use it to measure ingredients for making bread. The zero reset function is very convenient - place the bowl on the scale and press reset, then start adding flour; You can easily tell how many grams (ounces, whatever) you have. Without subtracting the weight of the bowl! BUT the bowl must be small enough not to obscure the display. Consider whether you want a full scale or a scale that connects to your phone via an app so you can see the weight.
