Review on Wild Salmon/Pollock Oil Omega-3 Blend: Grizzly Omega Health for Dogs & Cats by Tiffany Bobcats

The product has many positive properties. May be too expensive

I did my research on this product before purchasing it. This product seems to work very well. I usually buy pollock oil. But I have seen that this Grizzly product contains Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil and Wild Alaskan Pollock Oil. Keyword"WILD". The salmon used must come from wild rearing. Otherwise, the product will contain other unwanted things that are harmful to your pet. In all the studies I've done, almost everyone says wild salmon oil is the best, pollock oil comes in second. Unfortunately, wild salmon oil is the most expensive oil. And sometimes it is difficult to get and it may not be available at certain times of the year. The ingredients show that it contains high doses of the omega-3 fatty acids DHA/EPA (DHA-365mg per teaspoon/EPA-450mg per teaspoon), which is VERY important as most brands don't have enough of them. According to my vet, all dogs need a certain amount of each. Since most brands don't even have half the amount of DHA/EPA, you can't just double the amount of DHA/EPA since you're also doubling the other ingredients. not good. It also contains a small amount of omga-6 fatty acids (90 mg per teaspoon), which is another plus. You don't need large amounts of omega-6 fatty acids. Too much is bad. So you need a product with the right amount. Many products are only used to care for the skin and coat. But this particular product supports the skin, coat, immune system, heart and nervous system. This is the only product I have found that says it can be given to cats as well. So I bought it to give to my cat too. Unfortunately she wasn't used to it and threw up a few times after the start. So I can try again in much smaller doses. Although it works very well on my dogs. My dogs didn't like it either. But later they started to like it. They no longer have any problems with that. In the past I've also deducted a star in the rating for pump leaks. I have had many problems with a pump that leaks constantly and ends up wasting a lot. This is the first time I have bought a Grizzly and have never had a pump leak problem. Maybe they improved it, or I just got lucky with a good pump. But I only bought grizzly pollock oil before I found this grizzly product. Who knows? 🤷🏻‍♀️Update: I've noticed that my dog's coat isn't as shiny as it used to be when they were fed pollock oil. These are older dogs. But they had much nicer fur when I gave them grizzly pollock oil. I also noticed that the price has increased by $15 since my last purchase in early 2019. This product works very well. But it's not worth $50, especially since the pump leaks almost every time I buy a new reservoir. I will probably return to a different look. It seems that when products start getting a lot of good reviews, prices start to go up too. This is what I get when I try to review everything I buy. This should help other potential buyers. But in reality it hurts them too.
