If you like extra thin eyeliner, this one is perfect. Firstly, the stick is long enough that I can hold it fairly steadily in my hand without any problems. Sometimes these disposable makeup tools are too small to be effective, you can hardly grab them. The tip of the brush is a pretty good length too, it's basically the same shape from base to tip and is long enough but not too long to bend too easily. The width near the base of the topstitch needle is quite thin. To use this effectively, you need to adjust the way you apply liquid or gel eyeliner. Instead of just using the tip, consider using the entire brush. I find it easier to put the brush in and out of the gel vertically. Try to get the product evenly distributed without lumps. Then place the brush on your eyelid. I find it best to apply just above the lash line. It seems to be working great. Where this product fails is trying to get a thicker lash line or a big wing. The tip of the brush is so small that you can paint with it forever and you have to constantly apply more product. But a thin line is more natural, and if you have closed eyes or eyes with less space under your eyelids, that's great. I switched from black eyeliner to dark brown and created a no makeup look using this technique, but my eyes look bigger and more awake with no drama.
