Great for things besides eggs as well
I have never used it to slice an egg. I do use it for mushrooms and olives. Costco sells an 8 pack of olives for a good price but they are whole. This does the trick. You can get 3 in it at a time. The wire ones don't last for olives and sometimes just mush them. I also like that it locks closed so it doesn't jam the drawer. Came out clean in the dishwasher. Which is good because the dogs found the little cleaning brush.
