Revainrating 4 out of 5

Does what I bought it for.

I ordered this for small meetings. I wanted to be able to control my computer from a large screen. I ordered a smaller one because I had an extra 40" TV and wanted to test it out before buying a 60" setup. When received it was as expected. It was very easy to assemble. The instructions mentioned that this was mounted on or near a glass "faceplate". Problem 1: Most modern TVs don't have a glass front, but rather a frame that causes the screen to fold back about 1/2 to 3/4. inches from where the frame is installed. I'll probably try putting a piece of plastic/glass between the TV and the frame just to test. Problem 2: I'm not sure where the original dimensions of the frame design came from, but I've tested the frame to fit 5 different TVs from different manufacturers, but it only fits one (Samsung). Otherwise the frame was offset too far to work properly. I suspect you would need to make the sides of the frame adjustable, but I don't see a way to do that. I was using a laptop with Windows 10. All I did was plug a USB 2.0 connector into the laptop and an HDMI cable (provided by me) into the laptop and TV and it worked. As I moved my finger across the TV, the mouse pointer followed. The cursor deviated slightly from where my finger touched the screen, but followed my movements. I could also click etc. by touching the screen with my finger. Things I haven't tested yet but intend to do; Multiple touch points, double-tap context menus, use with Google Chrome devices. For my purposes, this works exactly as I expected. I wish it was possible to make some adjustments to better suit the TV, but that would be difficult and would certainly drive up the price. In most cases, test on the screen you intend to use for the adjustment. All in all, a fairly inexpensive 40-inch touchscreen for less than $400 that does exactly what I need it to do.
