KB Ear Neon are amazing looking IEMs with a single Knowles BA driver. It comes with a really good cable, several mounting kits and an attractive carrying case. It comes in neon packaging and costs just under $50. The shape of the KB Ear Neon is unique and not something I'm used to, but I figured out how to fit them in my ears and they've become very comfortable. The fit probably won't work for everyone, but it works well for me personally. I use S size earbuds and it's very easy to get a good fit. The ones that are properly inserted stay in them, but be aware that they stick out of your ears. I wouldn't recommend sleeping with them as they stretch a bit. As the name suggests, the clever design of KB Ear Neon matches the neon color theme. I bought them in purple and they are great. The cases are made of clear plastic, you can see the driver inside. The included silver cord is soft, lightweight, and tangle-free. I'm really impressed with the cable as it seems to be a much better cable than what you get for anything under $100. The ear pads are very comfortable and of good quality. The build quality of the Neon is excellent for such a relatively inexpensive product. The sound of KB Ear Neon is very interesting. This is a single BA driver but configured as a DD item. It's great for vocals and works really well with pop, electronic, and rock music. The mids are slightly pushed forward, which makes everything that has to do with singing sound very pleasant. KB Ear Neon isn't your analytical stuff and I wouldn't recommend it for classical music. But for anything vocal related they are excellent. The bass is clean, rich and fun. The highs are clear and well-extended, without the noise and annoying brightness often found in BA drivers. The picture is good and the whole setup is great. The sound is balanced and easy to control. These aren't the most detailed items, but I don't think the detail was what KB Ear wanted here. They are just fun to listen to and very entertaining! Well done KBear! Neon is my guardian! Five stars!
