As a vision enhancement teacher who was spending too much time on the computer (writing projects, etc.), I wanted the projector to reduce my time in front of the LED screen. I chose the Optoma EH412ST for its short headlight (necessary in my small office environment) and high ANSI lumen and contrast ratio (making it ideal for broad daylight use) and negligible fan noise. Surprisingly it didn't come with a connection cable, but I was able to borrow an HDMI cable from a neighbor and that was all I needed. There was also no carrying case or lens cap, which I expected, but none of those minor issues are a deal breaker. Importantly, the device works very well even in my sun-drenched office. Its Eco setting reduces light intensity, but even on this setting it can be used during the day, which is amazing. I am using a 60 inch screen and the projector is only 2 feet away to fill the screen. My eyes are grateful; a projector screen with its reflected light is much nicer and more natural to look at than looking directly at the bright pixels of the screen. LED screen. If you are interested in reducing eye strain while working on a computer, this could be the solution for you.
