My experience with bike racks comes from owning a collapsible Allen, now with Hollywood's SR2 it's a major upgrade, well made, heavy and strong. At first it seems a bit confusing and chaotic after unpacking, but once you have shown and identified all the elements, it only takes a few minutes to assemble. NOTICE to Jeep Liberty owners; The rim cover has three hex head screws on the back so don't use a flathead screwdriver to pry it out (like I do), my spare tire is the same as the original and I used a second adapter (counting from smallest to largest). after installation it seems solid. really solid. I like the low profile and the fact that the levers are one piece and have no pivot points. the tip is fixed with a screw, there is no possibility of accidentally slipping and falling, in addition, the bracket can be tightened with the included allen wrench, another safety factor. It holds my mountain bike fairly well, although it could have been better using a frame adapter, the underside of the lower arm from the frame is flat and wide so it doesn't fit in the mount (every rack has this), even with this "question" " was required to take my girlfriend's new mountain bike to the shop and it did a great job, at 40 even 60 mph with no wobble, even on rough roads the bike was very stable.
