These pants were a flattering cut and allow enough stretch to go up or down a size. The only reason I did not provide five stars is because the overall quality was slightly below par. For stage or from a few feet away, they look fine, however upon closer inspection, the material is just okay and some of the stitching at the center back seam was not the best. If you have a shorter inseam (29 inches) you may either need to wear high heels or have the pants hemmed. Surprisingly the waistband elastic looks much better than I anticipated. When on the body the waistband smoothes out nicely and doesn't look gathered. I ended up returning these pants and the company was very prompt in providing a full refund. For the right purpose, these would be decent pants, just not right for me.
