Review on Tools Professional Ceramic Titanium Curling Hair Care by Faith Miller

Heartbreaking disappointment: Not for fine, straight hair that doesn't hold curls

I bought this flat iron because I needed a 1 1/4" flat iron and it was a professional flat iron. Ceramic and tourmaline are said to be good for fine, straight hair that refuses to hold a curl.I was very disappointed to learn that despite several reviews here to the contrary, my experience was not accurate. This straightener didn't get hot as quickly as my other straighteners and I suspect they did don't heat up or stay hot despite their slogan I've spent noticeably more time curling my hair with this product than with my other straighteners I'VE EVEN DONE WITH MY VERY FINE HAIR The fact that I'm from overseas and this really is what I expected added to the sadness.I'm giving two stars because it looks good, is easy to use and s I feel strong I suspect if your hair is normal and likes to frizz this will suit you. For reference, I have two flat irons that help my hair hold curls better: a Remington Pink Ceramic Curler and an Eva-NYC Curler. This Hot Tools wand is a little better than the regular straighteners I've bought at beauty stores. Unfortunately, if you have straight hair and terrible curlers like me, you'll have to look elsewhere for a better flat iron. I'll give Hot Tools another shot with the golden iron, but will part with the brand if that proves disappointing, too.
