Review on 🚪 KidCo S353 Door Lever Lock White: Secure Your Home and Keep Kids Safe by Nikita Sweet

This is a well thought out product that is easy and quick to install. We hoped that our child would not understand this for some time, but this did not happen. Although we took precautions to ensure our son didn't figure out how the lock worked (we tried to make sure he didn't see us picking the lock on the pantry door), we found out last weekend that he's already plugged in had it in. This, just 3 short weeks after installation, was a huge disappointment for us. I will say that he is very good at mechanical tasks that require dexterity and hand-eye coordination, and he is also extremely tall for his age, but I am afraid that most children over 2 years old will not have any serious problems, to pick this lock. Hopefully that doesn't apply to other buyers. Again, the product itself is really well designed, but I think it's too easy to use, forcing us to look for something more complex or less accessible for little hands. We'll probably try the Door Monkey lock next as it's out of reach but unfortunately leaves the door itself slightly ajar.
