Review on 🖥️ Plustek PS186 Desktop Document Scanner with Auto Document Feeder (ADF) - Compatible with Windows 7, 8, and 10 by Daniel Shivashankar

So I bought this for my office, we needed a scanner to scan documents. Looking around we have several ScanSnap scanners but it's half the price and I think it has more features. Honestly this would be 5 stars barring one small issue. This is very fast when scanning to a local computer, but I wanted to use it to scan to network folders for different employees who use a different 1-click scanning profile. So you can go there and scan directly to a network folder on your local computer. The problem is that when scanning in this way, it first scans as .bmp and then converts to pdf, which takes a lot of time. However, if you're scanning to PDF locally, it's really quick, so let's set up a few network folders on the local computer, scan to a local folder, and then copy to a network folder after we're done. It's really a minor issue, just a bit annoying. I worked with Plustek customer service, they always responded quickly and did a great job on anything that couldn't be resolved. Again a very minor issue and I would buy it again all day, like I said, for half the price of a ScanSnap with more features.
