I drive a 2006 Acura TL with a manual transmission. Third gear synchronizers in this car have long been out of service. Basically, in this car, you have to match the RPM of your third gear, otherwise the transmission just won't engage third gear. It will just fly right out of the gate. This is a well-known and common design flaw in this car's manual transmission. I changed my circuitry to avoid this problem for a while, but over time it became more and more of a problem. difference in the world. With normal shifting, there are NO more problems when engaging third gear. Sometimes I feel very little resistance when shifting into third gear, but it's never surfaced like it used to. I would now honestly see a 90 percent improvement in 3rd gear function. Where I had previously seriously considered a several thousand dollar transmission rebuild, all I really needed instead was a $50 fluid change. This fluid is excellent and far superior to Honda's recommendations for this machine. I can't recommend it more highly.
