I am so happy with these full silicone bibs! We originally used the Bumpkins version, which is a waterproof fabric in the same bag style. I really struggled with the fabric version to keep it clean. We washed them in hot soapy water and hung them to dry after each use and after a few months they were permanently discolored and the stitching had become moldy. The full silicone version is much simpler. Just give them a quick rinse and wipe to dry and they're ready to go again. I know I won't see any stains or mold! The back of the bib features a sturdy set of four buttons that snap into the matching buttonhole. They work well and allow the bib to fit a variety of sizes. We use it on our skinny 9 month old and use the second setting. I just have to close a button and he can't open it! Another advantage of the silicone version over the fabric version is the pocket. In the fabric version, the bag is in a "closed" position so all the food may not be caught, and when the child looks down, it is more difficult for them to see the food in the bag. The silicone version is in the "open" position, which means more food is taken in and the child can easily see and reach fallen food! I highly recommend these bibs! NatureBond bibs also come with a transparent holdall, which is a huge advantage over similar products. Didn't think I'd use this, but it's actually very handy to keep in a diaper bag - when I'm eating out I can put a dirty bib (and a spoon or other accessory) in this bag and then back again diapers in my diaper bag. without crumbly food. Then I can quickly look in the transparent pocket at home to see whether the bib is dirty or clean.
