My main reason for choosing this product was the brackets. Like many others, they are attached with two screws. But what's different is that the walls they're mounted on don't have to face each other; they can be parallel or perpendicular. I ended up NOT installing it on a vertical wall, but I wanted the choice of how to mount it. This product is of very good quality. All metals are not subject to corrosion; Rods and brackets are made of aluminum, fastening and mounting screws are made of stainless steel. Not the cheapest on the market, but the quality and versatility are worth the few bucks more.
