Review on Nikon 7239 Action 7x50 EX Extreme All-Terrain Binoculars in Black by Kayla Guzman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nikon Action Extreme brightest binoculars $500.00 I have ever tested

I use them mainly for astronomy. They are very sharp and rich in contrast. They are literally even compared to binoculars that cost 3-5 times what they cost, they are the brightest binoculars I have ever reviewed. The quarter moon makes you squint and the stars are almost three-dimensional, literally. The stars are point-like and the field curvature is very small. I could easily see M31 although faint with a quarter moon and the double cluster was amazing and I also saw another faint galaxy but haven't been able to confirm its name yet. Many wonders of space can be seen with averted vision. In daylight they are literally beautiful. You get a bright, high-contrast, three-dimensional effect. While it may not be the best binoculars I've tested, you may have to spend $5-800 more to get the same look. Nikon did a good job in making these binoculars. At ish 140.00 this is probably the best investment in optics I've ever made for astronomy or daytime use. They excel in low light with 50mm lenses and are very wide with a field of view of 5.6 degrees. If you're hesitant about which binoculars to buy under $200, these binoculars should be at the top of your list. Get it and get it over with.
