Review on ⚡ F Type Lightning Arrestor Female to Female Bulkhead: O-Ring, 3GHz, 75 ohm with 90V Gas Tube Discharge - TV Surge Protector Surge Arrester by Justin Dorsett

Was glad to find these affordable F Type Lightning Rods. I use them for 4G LTE cellular antennas running over 75ohm RG6 cables. Yes, I know the spec says I should use a 50 ohm cable, but I'm not doing it out of purely personal preference. I would give these surge arresters a full 5 stars except for one fact: the included ground screw is too long and does not tighten when grounded. tip (or a ground strap, for that matter). Because the screws have thin threads, it's quite difficult to find the right length. So if you're buying these, check before you start or if like me you're in the country, it might delay you by a few hours/days. Shame as manufacturers put out a quality product with crappy hardware. I can't confirm performance when struck by lightning and I hope I never can. But the insertion loss on a 35ft RG6 with an additional 5ft thru-wall bar is very low. I won't go into details but my signal to the 4G modem was working about 89% before and 87% after installing F type lightning rods.
