These are 4 pin 2 pin Speakon connectors. While this might seem like an acceptable proposition at first glance, it all depends on the port you plug it into. In my case, all of the 4-pin Speakon connectors I've used have four proprietary metal pins designed to make good contact with the corresponding pins in the connector. However, this connector has no pins in the 2+ and 2- positions, so the connector's metal pins dig into the connector's plastic, making the connector almost impossible to remove. If you "convert" your 4-pin Speakon connectors to only have two pins, 1+ and 1-, these connectors will latch and unlock normally and make good, reliable contact. I wouldn't recommend plugging them into a speaker or amp jack that you haven't specifically modified. As noted in some other reviews, they fit snugly, but removing them can be nearly impossible or devastating.
