I want to love this product, I really love it but I can't. I bought this skin out of pure nostalgia because I own N64 Atomic Purple and Gameboy Color. I love the color of these joycons and the build isn't that bad. I will list the pros and cons. Pros: The atomic purple color is very close to the original Nintendo Gameboy color. Looks great Has a glossy/smooth plastic finish instead of the smooth/matte finish of the original joycon (might be an advantage for some compared to others) The left-handed shape of the joycon works and there's nothing wrong with that. Disadvantages: The correct shape of the joycon is NOT SUITABLE. I got 3 SR knobs and 1 SL knob. As already mentioned, the right joystick is riddled with problems. 1. The mold has quality issues: the joycon guides don't sit neatly inside so they squeeze the motherboard and press the "+" button, ultimately rendering the + button unusable. OR you can leave the shell slightly open at the top but still enable the +button function. Leaving the joycon case open will make it look ugly and allow dust to get inside. 2. The plastic holding the ZR trigger is loose. Everything is fine there, but the trigger feels soft and you have to press hard to register the "click" of the button. (This isn't an issue with the left joystick.) And those issues weren't all at once. I contacted the seller and they kindly sent me another correct joycon skin and had the exact same issues. Can't speak to other Joycon shell colors, but Atomic Purple definitely has bad plastic mold (perhaps inconsistent as some people claim it's ok). Personally I do NOT recommend this product until these issues are resolved. By the way, I've disassembled and reassembled this joycon so many times that I'm pretty good at it. I can completely replace the shell in less than 15 minutes.
