I installed two of these units. First on Samsung TV with HDMI arch. Easy installation, everything went perfectly with my xfinity remote volume control sync. On my other Samsung TV I had to use an optical connection. In order for my xfinity remote to control the Yamaha soundbar, I had to press the setup button, type 992, and then use the channel button until the soundbar turned off. Press the setting button again to set the code. My Xfinity remote now controls the soundbar. Hope that helps. Great soundbar for the money. The volume control options are awesome. Overall great quality for the price
