The ideal solution for a Windows machine. This is exactly what I was looking for. My needs were basically a USB-C dock, but I didn't want to pay $150 for it. And here comes this boy. The main thing I was looking for was 2 monitors. It has 2 HDMI outputs, no stupid duplication, 2 real monitors. VGA is clearly a duplication of HDMI, no surprises, USB-C DisplayPort doesn't support more than 2 monitors. I use it with 2 HDMIs at 1080p 60Hz and it works really well. What also surprised me was 3 USB 3.0 and 1 2.0, not 2 USB 3.0 and 2 2.0 like every other dongle. That's overkill, I had to plug my keyboard into a 3.0 port (it doesn't need a 3.0). Charging is also important to me. My laptop uses 45 watts and this little guy eats it up easily. It's only getting warm. My previous 130w gaming laptop was twice as hot as this dongle when connected simultaneously to dual monitors, keyboard, mouse, external sound card and a 45w charger. I also plan to use wired internet so it's a great opportunity using it as a docking station rather than a dongle. I don't even need SD, microSD and VGA outputs, but they are there. It's overkill for what they charge.
