It's everything it seems! I needed beautiful hangers for my new wall hanger, so the first thing that drew me to them was the aesthetics. Maybe it sounds silly but to me they almost look like a piece of art that I look for in almost anything visible in my house. Of course, hangers are meaningless if they're not functional, and I had no intention of trading functionality for form (NEVER!). That's why I chose them because they're durable, have rounded shoulders that won't dent clothes, and they have non-slip rubber pads on the shoulders. They do everything! The handles work great and don't leave dimples on your shoulders. They are very light; almost as light as the balsa wood that (earlier?) toy airplanes are made of, but not quite. Their weight is deceptive as they are MUCH stronger than their lightness would suggest. I don't want to hang my long, heavy sweaters on hooks so I have them on these hangers now, but would also make a great hang for a thick wool coat or suit jacket. There are no kinks or weaknesses in the wood or hooks, and no cracks or breaks in the connection between them. They're not as flimsy as the coated steel wardrobes available, which are also nice and good for a packed closet, but they take up far less space than the typical thick, heavy, sometimes curved, wooden wardrobes. Overall I really couldn't think of a better hanger for this purpose or to fill up your closet if you have the space and resources. TO BUY! (FYI, there's also a pants version if you need it.) Enjoy!
