It's made of cheap glass that gives a matte finish. The ONLY reason I bought it was a misguided belief on my part that it would allow me to see deer at 1000 yards as accurately as my Leupold can at 500 yards. Not even close. I think you get what you pay for sums up this purchase. The return period has expired, otherwise I would have done this. Guilty!
