I have a horrible time when my very active 9 year old daughter wears pants other than leggings...she is skinny and unless it's too tight when she bends over her her pants won't stay up. You are perfect! They stretch like leggings but look like good pants and are slightly warmer than leggings (but by no means thick). They also seem to be quite durable, my daughter has scattered them all over the place and they wash up with no stains! Very happy.
