Light short ankle brace was pretty much as described. The pink foil is well constructed. Nice pink. Velcro straps are easily adjustable. I bought medium because I wear size 9 women's shoes. I think small might be a better choice. Even with the extra padding, there's still some room left. Also, I have thick calves, but the lining seems to overlap more and doesn't match the velcro loop. I was a bit surprised that the velcro straps are plastic and not metal, but they seem sturdy. I bought this as a "backup" brace that I have to wear every day. This one is light enough for me to sleep in and it's comfortable. I definitely recommend this item. Just make sure what size you need.
