Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Joomra Women's Minimalist Trail Running Barefoot Shoes: Wide Toe Box & Zero Drop for Enhanced Comfort and Performance by Carl Henderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I needed to size up!

I really, really like these shoes! The grey and pink. However, the first pair I ordered was too small. I normally wear a women's size 9-9.5 and have wide feet, so I ordered my size, the 9-9.5 as I thought the 10 might be too big. I've learned I have to try things and return as needed to get the correct size in shoes from Best Buy (and clothing). These are nice and wide, and the collar around the ankle is well padded and did not cause any discomfort on my ankle bones. But they are just too short and crowded my toes too much for me to really feel comfortable. I doubted these would stretch and break in, so I returned them for a much larger pair - I ordered the 10.5-11 and they fit perfect! (They are pictured 2nd with me wearing black socks). Not tight in the toes at all and have a wonderfully wide toe box too. Those are a keeper!I also ordered a third pair, but with a different style closure - as the sole and the cover appears to be exactly the same, but they somehow aren't. I ordered the third shoe listed, in the grey with no velcro strap and but with a tongue. But the toe area on the left foot hurts my little toe and I can feel the sole much more in that pair, and the ankle area is not padded as well as the pink and grey pair and they hurt my ankle bones, so I'll be returning those too. Bummer, as I really hoped all the colors and closure styles would feel the same, but so far, they don't. I'm going to try another color in the same exact style as above and see if that fits and feels the same, as I do love these shoes for comfort. I wear them in town, around the house and while doing yard work and would like a darker pair or two. So I will keep trying.
