These springs and turnbuckles perform poorly for the following reasons: 1. The spring rate seems to vary between different springs. In fact, the spring rate is so far out that my Lance 825 Camper keeps sliding back 0.5" on one side but not the other because the spring is loose on one side. recommended springs 1/8" - 1/4".2. The springs creak like a 1980s pickup truck. I pay attention to parking because my setup sounds like the van Uncle Eddie drives in Lampoon Christmas.3. Tow bars corrode quickly after 6000 miles of use in the last 2 months. Some of them were winter but I expected them to hold up better than that. Eventually I'll replace them with something else, preferably a different brand.
