My daughter has been using these forks and spoons since she was 1 and is now 3.5 years old. You are wonderful! They're the perfect size for toddlers and you can actually prick food with a fork. I ordered this set because, like mom and dad, she kept asking for a knife. The knives are not sharp. She can cut a banana with it, but she won't cut it seriously. Our dishwasher has a third shelf so I wash them on that, but I used to put them in the dishwasher basket on the top shelf and they did great both ways. I highly recommend them for toddlers. You are too big to feed your baby unless you have a giant baby.
