I bought a nice jacket, I've had it for about a year. The zipper was plastic and fastened when closed. it automatically unzipped in the middle. The jacket still looks almost new so I decided to replace the zip with a metal zip and being fed up with plastic I switched to metal. I think I overdid it a little because I bought a giant zipper. hahaha I don't care if the teeth look a bit big I just wanted a quality zipper that would last and I think it will fill the bill! Oh they do custom sizes which is what I needed. Not everyone has a 31-inch zipper handy.
