Inexpensive practice kit

This is a fine kit for beginners and you definitely get what you pay for. I had never used a dip kit before and the instructions made it very straightforward. Iโ€™ve used the set several times now and have gotten better at the technique, so the kit provided some practice if nothing else. I gave it 3 stars because the colors are not at all what is shown. The white, pink, and beige are completely transparent after multiple layers, they all look basically the same and are very grainy even after a good buff and two top coats. The red is a bit pinkish and is sparkly, the silver is nice though. I ended up combining the "light pinkโ€ and the "redโ€ to make a pink that would be opaque enough. It came out fine, but Iโ€™ll be buying all new powders now that I know what Iโ€™m doing. The polish does last though without chipping, which was a really redeeming quality for the set. Overall, if youโ€™re just starting out this is a cheap option since youโ€™ll likely waste a bit of product without wasting a ton of money. But Iโ€™ve only had the set a few weeks and have already purchased some more high quality (and far more expensive) replacements for long term use.
