I live in a small 4-room apartment with a tin roof and paneling in the countryside. In winter, when the leaves are falling from the trees, the house receives a cellular connection and a 4G signal. But only honestly, and not in all rooms. In the summer, when the trees sprout leaves, we often have to go outside or the conversation will be interrupted. We have Verizon, but we need to use the HD Voice feature that our home WiFi uses to talk indoors. But sometimes it even drops calls, and sometimes rural internet disappears. At the moment I am very satisfied with the booster. I was a bit confused about the required 50ft horizontal or 20ft vertical distance from the external antenna and the internal antenna. Our house is only 30 feet long, but I was able to position the external antenna to almost 20 feet vertically and 25 feet horizontally, and it works fine. We have strong mobile network in all rooms and 4g even in the bathroom. So for me it's definitely worth it. A lower price offer that looks identical to the one I received but says it ONLY works with Verizon and ATT. I have Verizon but figured I might decide to switch carriers in the future so I took the next step which claims to work with ALL carriers. I bought a refurbished one and it was $100 less than a new one. I believe the transfer has probably been tested even more than new and the guarantee is the same. So far so good.
